The Mark Hopkins Accountability Committee (MHAC) is charged with advising the principal on the long-term direction of the school. MHAC is a district mandated committee that is responsible for advising on the following issues:

• School Priorities
• School Improvement Plan
• Annual School Budget Priorities
• School Staffing Plan
• Significant school policies, procedures, and programs

MHAC is currently working on developing a long-term strategic plan for the school. This committee is made up of parents, teachers, and the school administration. MHAC meets on the first Tuesday of the Month. The agendas are posted in the lobby of the school 48 hours prior to the meeting. All community members are invited and encouraged to attend these meetings.
