I want to thank all the parents for their kindness and understanding. It was a very unfortunate set of circumstances for my daughter, which mandated I be with her over the last few weeks. I am happy to say she is better and out of the hospital. It will be a rough road to recovery but she is already making good progress. Ms. McGrath did an outstanding job with your children. Our students are still as smart as ever!.
In the next couple of weeks, I will be giving the DRA, which is a developmental reading assessment. I am confident the children will do very well.

PLC Update
We established Smart Goals for our students in writing. Our new goals are word choice and beginning, middle and end sounds in words. We are examing writing samples and checking to see if the students have met the critieria.
