The Mark Hopkins Elementary School Library staff welcomes new volunteers.  If you would be interested in working with children of all ages, please contact Ms. Treat at 303-347-4565.

Library volunteers are needed in the following areas:

Front Desk Checkin-Checkout:  In this position you would be working with classes from preschool through 5th grade, depending on which morning or afternoon you would like to volunteer.  Our checkin/checkout system is fully computerized and very easy to learn.  Learn how to assist students in finding books, putting holds on favorite books, etc.

Scholastic Book Fairs:  We hold two Scholastic Book Fairs each year.  The first one is held on November.  The second will be just before school lets out in May.  Morning and afternoon shifts are available.  Duties include assisting with classroom previews and helping parents and students select and find books for purchase.

Book Exchange: A late winter chance to get rid of old books and pick up some new ones for free!!   Call Ms. Treat to see how you can help.
